Confusion

Yikes...so I really don't think I am understanding all of this! Or this is beyond my computer capabilities!! Anyway, right now I feel frustrated by all of this and I am remembering why I didn't want to get involved in blogs and all this in the first place! I really don't understand the difference between the del.icio.us account and the bloglines account! Is one saving news and the other saving blogs??

Also..I know this is just being grouchy and frustrated, but if you are teaching a scripted program and you cant even get through teh required material...how on earth am I going to incorporate something like this into my class? ESpecially when I am not getting it at all myself! I really hope as I read others posts and blogs this starts to make sense for me!

You aren't being grouchy! There's a lot of learning going on, and it's not easy. The great thing is that you can choose the tools to use in your classroom, and practice using the others for your own learning. I alway think it is a great idea to use these tools for your own personal use before ever using them with students. That way, you can become comfortable with them.
Are you beginning to understand the difference between social bookmarking and subsribing to blogs in bloglines? You can use delicious /social bookmarking to bookmark just about any website on the web, just like bookmarking favorites in your browser. On the other hand, you can only use Bloglines or another aggregator to subscribe to websites with rss feeds, which include blogs and news sites.

Hang in there. It will become more clear. Thanks for sticking with it.

Things will get easier as you go along. Just keep it up and follow the crowd.
